Train Travel - A love Letter
All aboard, we're off to Venice, Paris – or perhaps Stockholm? „Train Travel“ is a narrative non-fiction book and a visual love letter to train travel. Blurred forests, lush green fields, and sun-drenched mountain peaks — sandwiches or strawberries from the cooler bag and sleeping in tripple bunk bed on night trains. The book aims to spark curiosity, educate, encourage and inspire enthusiasm for train travel.

Hi! I’m Yette — an aspiring picture book maker from Potsdam, with a love for bright, warm colours, long walks, and dinnerparties with friends. And I love travelling by train. To Sweden, through the Swiss Alps, toward the Italian sun. Whenever I can, I take the train instead of the plane. It’s better for the environment — but most of all – I simply find train travel magical. Alongside this book project, I have developed and illustrated several other concepts – that I’m hoping to place with publishers soon.
