The smell of a dragonfly
Did you ever wonder how a dragonfly smells? Do you remember the scent of your grandmother’s kitchen or the smell of your favorite pie? Maybe there are even some strange smells you like, but never dared to admit? The girl in this story collects remarkable scents in glass jars. The wonderful world of smells helps us remember moments and keep them close. Alongside her best friend, a dog named Momo, she goes on a big adventure to catch the scent of a tiny, fast dragonfly and discovers something even better along the way.
- It is an invitation to explore the world of smells around us.
- The story shows how smells carry memories, and how a simple scent can take a person back to a favorite day.
- Great for children who are looking closely at the unnoticed details in life.
The world of smells was always incredibly important to me as a kid. I loved smells, other people hated, and of course, I kept those as a secret. I believe, each human being has unique and beautiful perception of the world and it is worth sharing those. I hope, my drawings make readers curious about the world of smells and perhaps even inspire you to start a secret collection of your own.
