Plenty of Teeth in the Sea

A shark will continuously regrow its teeth throughout its lifetime. Or so this shark thinks in great confidence as he parades the sea, looking for creatures to eat. Snapping his way through the sea, he ignores the advice of a little turtle warning him of his teeth’s slow recession, since he’s got- ’fousanf o’ teef!‘ And so, the eel flosses through the gaps in his gums, the octopus suctions off the wobbly ones, and the sardines slip and slide off the shiny sides. Perhaps the little turtle can help once the shark admits that without his ’feef, der is nuffin’ to ea-‘

I loved being read to as a child. The vivid, funny, and exciting stories, coupled with colourful, intricate, or bold illustrations, were so compelling to me that they undoubtedly contributed to my current creative pursuits. During those formative years, one is incredibly impressionable, and the ability to captivate a young mind with imaginative and funny tales is what inspires me to create these books.
