The Missing Button
This (mostly) non-fiction picture book presents different ways to fix a missing button on a shirt. While the first few examples showcase real methods for substituting a button, later examples get more and more absurd like stapling, welding or using marmalade to keep the shirt together.

- this book teaches some real techniques for clothes making with a fun twist

- sparks interest in children for DIY-methods

- teaches children consequences of wearing down fabrics and how to fix them
My name is Fiete and I am currently studying communication design in my 6th semester at the University of Applied Sciences in Potsdam. I like to produce music, paint and to design in the broadest sense. While I wouldn’t say I’m an illustrator I always find a way to do illustrations that still work great. This is my second children's book following Foul & Vile from earlier this year.
