Patents – The Most Genius Inventions
Inventions fascinate everyone. To ensure that no one copies what you have developed, you need a patent! The idea must be formulated, put down on paper and submitted to the Patent Office. There, they check whether the invention is truly new and works. It doesn’t have to make sense, which is why there are all sorts of bizarre patents. For example, the unicycle.
In short chapters, the book presents exciting patents: milestones in human history (e.g. the automobile), things that make everyday life easier (e.g. the folded teabag) and even some crazy ones (e.g. the moustache guard). This gives rise to stories about ingenuity, progress, about us humans and how we organise our lives together.
