"The Repair Shop" [Translation of the original german title: "Die Reparatur Werkstatt"]is a picture book about screwing, sawing, sewing, and gluing—in short, about doing things yourself. In this book, the ceiling literally falls apart. But don’t worry: at the Repair Shop, everything gets fixed in no time. Through a narrative storyline, the book shows which bit fits which screw, how to sew with a zigzag stitch, or how to glue a page in a book. With colorful, illustrated tips and tricks, this book shows you everything you need for DIY projects at home and the best ways to do them.

My name is Klara and I am an exhibition designer, picturebook artist and curios mind. I like my work to be easy accessible, inclusive and fun to look at. I take my ideas from everyday life all around me. I genuinely made "Die Reparatur Werkstatt" for myself and every diy likeminded person (kid or adult) in the hopes of creating a fun, illustrated collection of how to do things and what best to use for.
