The Book of a Hundred Holes

Some holes are useful, like the ones in your nose, while others can be tricky, like the holes in your socks. This book is a playful collection of holes: everyday, unusual, loud, quiet, and even holes that aren’t really holes at all. Where do holes come from, what makes them different, and what do they share? With curiosity and fun, the book invites readers to explore the world and see things from a new perspective.
- The book takes a humorous, curious look at holes.
- It encourages readers to wonder about the little details of the world around us.
- It offers a playful way to explore shapes and structures.
Hi, I’m Leonie from Berlin. I’m currently in my fifth semester of Communication Design at FHP. My passion is telling stories through a variety of media. During the Picture Book Lab, I explored illustration for the first time, which led to the creation of my first children’s book. It’s illustrated by hand with pencil and gouache, which I enjoy for its tactile and playful qualities.
