Not fitting in is never comfortable or pleasant. Carla always stands out, yet she isn’t seen. She tries everything to make herself smaller and fit into the pages, but nothing seems to work. But maybe the problem isn't Carla's size — maybe it's the books.The book aims to raise questions such as: How does it feel to stand out? What if we don’t fit in, like literally?

As a tall woman myself, the topic of size and belonging has always been a personal part of my everyday life. I believe that everyone has something unique about themselves, something that may make them stand out, but also makes them who they are. Rather than hiding these qualities, we should learn to embrace them, because our differences are what create our identity.
