The little caretaker
My picture book explores the idea that every person carries an inner world shaped by thoughts, feelings, and emotions. It visualizes this world as a tree growing on each person’s head, cared for by a gentle gardener who keeps it in balance. When that balance is lost, the inner world begins to fall into chaos. The story follows the gardener as he searches for a new way to care for his world and restore harmony.

Hi, I’m Valentin, an artist and illustrator born and raised in Berlin.
