DAY N NIGHT DREAMS
A collection of illustrated short stories mostly inspired by my dreams. Not just dreams i have while sleeping, I also want to visualize desires or random fantasies I have at day.
- The focus of the book is on the visual experience. The content of the stories themselves is initially secondary. Apart from the chapter headings, there will be no continuous text in this book.
- I illustrate short stories characterized by surrealism. Similar to dreams, they don’t always have to make sense.
- Creepy beautiful, comical and bizarre.
Hi, I am Ming, a design student and illustrator based in Potsdam. Beyond the numerous, occasionally unsettling dreams, I also have a propensity for daydreaming while awake. So I have set myself the challenging task of illustrating these dreams. I am interested in topics such as interpersonal relationships and psychological aspects. In summary, I am intrigued by humanity and the essence of being human. Additionally, I enjoy incorporating nature, fashion and pop culture into my work.
