In this one week project, we played and experimented with the form of the picture book. Our aim was to rethink it in terms of modularity, minimalism, dramaturgy, material and color. We worked in our bookbinding- and risographic workshops at Potsdam University of Applied Sciences.
Every book was produced in a small edition and each participant worked along a different basic principle, e.g. a certain fold, certain colors or a format. Designing and working was great fun and it opened up new perspectives on how picture books might look like.
